Bentham Forest: a dark haunted forest

The Mermaid Experience
SL™’s Only True 3d Environment

Being new to SL I go from world to world, explore, meet people, walk around – and am continually amazed. Amazed by it all, but mostly by the “walking around” part. Here I am in the largest user defined, most sophisticated virtual world ever created, and “home” to millions around the world, and I’m walking around. I use doors, walk up stairs (fall off stairs!), jump off rocks down to the ground, and when I’m tired, I lay down.
Mexico: where ancient history meets Second Life
I am a European citizen and resident who has not had so far the opportunity to visit the American continent. The Second Life, though, has helped me to pay several virtual visits to a number of sites with American themes. One of these sites which amongst others satisfies my thirst for knowledge of history is Mexico, a site which comprises a number of sims filled with ancient Mayan temples and other spectacular archaeological and historical monuments. The project was sponsored by Mexican Tourism Board.
Heart Reef Resort: a place that every Second Life resident should visit
To some residents Second Life is about partying. The great variety of clubbing opportunities and the wide range of music options offered to partygoers guarantee exciting moments in the clubs of SL. To other residents SL is an opportunity to be creative by engaging in activities such as building and scripting to create objects and buildings. Other residents are looking for business opportunities or focus on social aspects of the game. To me SL is a place where I can relax and socialise. I achieve my goal by engaging in activities that fuel exciting and positive feelings, such as visiting exciting SL places and socialising with like-minded people.
